West Ham has recently made a bid worth £34 million to acquire Gianluca Scamacca, a 23-year-old striker from Sassuolo. However, Serie A has demanded that they want much more than the amount that has been bid by West Ham.

Seria A Side Demands £42.6 Million

The latest reports from the football industry have brought Gianluca Scamacca under the spotlight. The reason is that the player is in high demand during the transfer window and West Ham is after the player.

The reports confirm that West Ham wants to get Gianluca Scamacca to join their squad. The club has offered a total of £34 million for the striker. However, Serie A has demanded that they won’t let go of the player until an amount of £42.6 million is paid.

Discussions are Ongoing

The inside resources have reported that the discussions are still ongoing between both clubs. So far, things seem to be going in a positive direction for both clubs as they are mainly positive.

As the discussions are going well, it is possible that West Ham may be able to win a bid and get the 23-year-old player to join their squad.

The reason why the club may be after Gianluca Scamacca could be his performance while being part of Serie A. In the last season, while playing for Sassuolo, the player made 36 appearances and was able to score 16 goals.

West Ham after Armando Broja and Amadou Onana

Apart from Gianluca Scamacca, West Ham is also after another player from a different football club, Armando Broja. Armando Broja is a striker at Chelsea and West Ham is in discussion with the club as well. The sources claim that the discussion is still open between West Ham and Chelsea.

In addition to Armando Broja, West Ham is also after Amadou Onana and they are in discussion with Lille over his acquisition. There is a high possibility that West Ham will be able to transfer Onana to their side as the midfielder.

West Ham Failed to Sign Jesse Lingard

West Ham also revealed that they wanted to sign up Jesse Lingard. They attempted to do it on a free transfer. However, they were too late to make an attempt and get him to sign. Jesse Lingard reportedly moved to Nottingham Forest for a year contract.

By the time West Ham approached Jesse Lingard, he had already decided that he would join Nottingham Forest.

So far, West Ham has successfully signed up three players. These players are Nayef Aguerd, a defender from Rennes, Alphonse Areola, a goalkeeper from Paris Saint-Germain, and Flynn Downes, a midfielder from Swansea City.
